How MoneyFunction protects original work and responds to valid copyright concerns.
MoneyFunction respects intellectual-property rights and expects contributors, partners and users to do the same. Content, branding, graphics and original materials published on MoneyFunction may be protected by copyright and other applicable laws unless otherwise stated.
Permitted use
You may link to MoneyFunction pages and quote brief portions for commentary, reporting or educational reference when legally permitted and when clear attribution and a link to the original page are provided. Republishing complete articles, copying substantial portions, removing attribution, scraping content for republication or commercially redistributing MoneyFunction material requires prior written permission.
Reporting alleged infringement
If you believe material available on MoneyFunction infringes copyright that you own or are authorized to represent, send a written notice to editorial@moneyfunction.com with the subject “Copyright Notice.” Your notice should include:
- Your full name, organization, postal address, telephone number and email address
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
- The exact MoneyFunction URL and a clear description of the material in question
- A statement explaining your ownership or authority to act for the copyright owner
- A good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or applicable law
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, where applicable, made under penalty of perjury
- Your physical or electronic signature
Review and action
We review sufficiently complete notices in good faith. Depending on the circumstances, we may request clarification, temporarily restrict access, remove material, add attribution, contact the contributor or take another appropriate action. Incomplete, inaccurate or abusive notices may delay review.
Counter-notice
If your material was removed or restricted because of a copyright notice and you believe the action resulted from mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice identifying the removed material, its former location, the basis for your objection, your contact information, legally required statements and your physical or electronic signature. We may share the counter-notice with the original complainant when necessary to address the claim.
Contributor responsibility
Authors and contributors must submit only material they created or are authorized to use. They remain responsible for obtaining permissions for photographs, charts, screenshots, quotations, datasets and other third-party material. Repeated or serious infringement may result in removal of content and loss of publishing access.
